Where is Cocks Moors Woods Fencing Club?

Fencing will restart for U18s from 16th April.  You will need to be a member of British Fencing, our club and book online to attend these sessions.
 
When you have booked your session, you will need to complete the Pre-session Health Check on the day of fencing.


Cocks Moors Woods Fencing Club trains at the Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre in the main sports hall on courts 1-4.

Friday weekly – 18.45 to 20.45

Do I need any special clothing or equipment?
Not necessarily. If you have your own fencing equipment, please bring it along. If not we have equipment at the club. You should wear a loose fitting t-shirt (or similar) and loose trousers or tracksuit bottoms and training shoes. You should also bring along a bottle of water for regular drinks.

How much does it cost?
Term fees are paid January, May and September.

Juniors (up to 17 years old), student and OAPs

  • £240 per annum (saving 20%)
  • £85.00 per term (saving 15%)
  • You can pay on the night and the cost is £6.00.

Adults (Aged 18 years old and over)

  • £320 per annum (saving 20%)
  • £115 per term (saving 15%)
  • You can pay on the night and the cost is £8.00

We fence all through the year including half terms and the summer holiday. The only exception is Good Friday, when the leisure centre is closed and the Friday between Christmas and New Year. That’s 50 weeks of fencing!
