Where is Cocks Moors Woods Fencing Club?

Cocks Moors Woods Fencing Club trains at the Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre in the main Sports Hall.

Friday weekly – Kids Fencing Club 18.00-19.00 | Main Club  19.00-20.45.

Do I need any special clothing or equipment?
Not necessarily. If you have your own fencing equipment, please bring it along. If not we have equipment at the club. You should wear a loose fitting t-shirt (or similar) and loose trousers or tracksuit bottoms (not shorts or jeans) and training shoes. You should also bring along a bottle of water for regular drinks.

How much does it cost?
Term fees are paid January, May and September. Fees can be paid online by visiting our shop.

Kids Fencing Club (Ages 6-8 only)

      • Term £70

Juniors (9 to 17 years old), students and concessionary

      • Annual – £280 (saving 20%)
      • Term – £99.17  (saving 15%)
      • Monthly – £27.71 (saving 10%)
      • Weekly – £7.00

Adults (Aged 18 years old and over)

      • Annual – £360 (saving 20%)
      • Term – £127.50 (saving 15%)
      • Monthly – £42.75 (saving 10%)
      • Weekly – £9.00

We fence all through the year including half terms and the summer holiday. The only exception is Good Friday, when the leisure centre is closed and the Friday between Christmas and New Year. That’s 50 weeks of fencing!
